Stand-up

Kate performs sporadically (spontaneously?) at stand-up open mics in the moist back rooms of Philadelphia bars and in obscure, brightly-lit coffee shops in central Florida. Her debut bomb in NYC is coming soon. It will not be announced.

Long before her breakthrough performance at Philly's Bechdeltest Fest, Kate had been making fun of people--specifically her older brother--exclusively online. "The Taming of the Lost Boy" is a blog that chronicled their temporary co-habitation and her attempt to train him with positive and negative reinforcement. It was followed, unbeknownst to Kate's brother, by users around the world.
